This Privacy Policy describes how Surya ("I", "me", or "my") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the JARVIS personal AI SMS assistant service ("Service"). JARVIS sends SMS reminders and responds to requests on behalf of its owner. Recipients are exclusively the owner and a short, hand-curated list of contacts who have been explicitly invited.
1. Information We Collect
The only personal information collected is:
- Phone number — used to identify recipients and send/receive messages.
- Message content — the text of messages you send to or receive from JARVIS.
No other information (name, email, location, device data, cookies, or analytics) is collected through this Service.
2. How Information Is Used
Your phone number and message content are used only to respond to your requests and to send scheduled reminders that you or the owner have configured. No data is used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the Service.
3. Sharing and Disclosure
Information is not sold, rented, or traded. It may be disclosed only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers — Twilio, Inc. is used to transmit SMS messages. Twilio processes messages solely to deliver them over carrier networks. Twilio's privacy policy governs their use of transmission data.
- Legal requirements — disclosure may occur if required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
4. Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are in place to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no transmission over the internet or mobile network is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
